Performance management is the appraisal system in a company. How you can set the objective ( goal ) for un employee and how much he/ she has achieved in that.this evaluation will be done by your immediate supervisor ( manager) finally this appraisal result will be one of factor in your annual bonus as well as your annual increment.
before you go for e- learning for performance management. You should know the domain of appraisal cycle. this will different to the company to company.
in technical point of view. you should be aware of the appraisal form ( template) ,criteria, who are going to be participation for that appraisal (manager and employee) ,additional participation, statues , workflow ( notification) etc..
